Let me introduce myself – I’m Saira Salmon, and have trained as a naturopathic nutritionist, which is a long way of saying that I help you to re balance your body in the search for good health.

Health and wellbeing extend beyond just the physical body however.  It is my belief that to truly live the best life we can, not only do we need a strong, vital body but a balanced mind and emotions, with clarity of insight and a clear sense of our purpose in this world.

Over the years I have trained in many different modialities to support this belief and to help both myself and others on the path to full health and vitality.  All I have learnt has transformed my view of how I live and has taken me a long way from my original understandings, built on old paradigms that are clearly being shown not to work.

There are many new and exciting discoveries, quantities of research and many inspiring stories 'out there', but making sense of it all can be difficult.  I can bring the extensive knowledge I have, both physical and metaphysical, to help you on the road to regaining your health and energy, and making sense of all the information, both good and bad, which bombards us relentlessly.

The world of natural medicine is an exciting place to work.  Research is beginning to show the science behind much old knowledge, as well as opening up exciting new fields such as energy medicine and psychoneuroimmunology (quite a mouthful! But it basically looks at how thoughts and feelings affect you physically!).  The way we understand health is being transformed and by working more holistically and addressing some of the less obvious causes of ill health, as well as the physical aspects, my clients have gained much better results, as well as a deeper understanding of themselves.

With knowledge comes understanding, and understanding can lead to self empowerment as you make better, healthier choices about how you want to live in this world.

You see, health and wellbeing don’t happen by accident. Good health – or the lack of it – comes about as the result of choices we make in our life – what we eat, how we live, how we express ourselves emotionally, how we deal with stress, family patterns and behaviours, ingrained beliefs we adhere to. All this and more contributes to who you are – and how you feel.

This website is for people who want to understand and take control of the things which are effecting them. Physically we can look at the importance of diet and how the right nutrition, through diet and supplementation, can ameliorate or even cure certain health conditions. Emotionally and mentally you can come to a better understanding of the impact aspects of how we live, think and feel can have on our health and ability to live well in the world.

I shall be constantly adding new information and insights, as well as tools to help you. Let me know if there is anything in particular you want added, and if I can oblige, I will.
